Legacy Planned Giving

Sustained Giving
Sustained giving is when a donor elects to make a regular, ongoing contribution to the Portland Symphonic Choir, “sustaining” our mission over time. When you elect to make a regular, ongoing donation you will join a special group of people reaching out each month to help the Choir serve its community through song and advocacy. Simply click the “make this a recurring donation” button when you make your gift to the Portland Symphonic Choir.

Your Gift and the Oregon Cultural Tax Credit
Donors to Portland Symphonic Choir are eligible to take part in the Cultural Tax Credit — learn more about how from the Oregon Cultural Trust.
Here’s how to do your part:
1. Total what you gave to the nonprofits on this list during the calendar year.
2. Give to the Cultural Trust online or by mail by December 31.
3. On your State Tax Form, report your donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust. You’ll get 100% of it back!*
* Up to $500 for individuals, $1,000 for couples filing jointly and $2,500 for Class C-corporations.
